After graduating University, I began my training in Holistic Therapies in 2000 in Glasgow, at that time choosing to specialise in reflexology, Indian head massage and reiki. During my second pregnancy I felt drawn to working with women, particularly during pregnancy, and attended my first maternity reflexology course in 2010. Following that my interest grew in this field and I began training as a birth & post-natal doula, and placenta remedies specialist. I am currently a member of the Scottish Doula Network. I am passionate about providing good support for women and families in the post-natal period and run a weekly breastfeeding support group, and quarterly breastfeeding preparation workshops, at the Pregnancy & Parents Centre in Edinburgh.
After completing further specialist training in maternity and fertility reflexology, I now support women to understand their bodies from early menstruation through pre-conception, pregnancy and the post-natal period, up to and beyond menopause, using reflexology to support the balancing of hormones with an aim to reach optimum health, whatever stage in life. I am LGBTQ+ friendly. I am a single mum of three, living in the Midlothian countryside. I like to keep active outdoors on long distance walks, and indoors doing yoga, singing and dancing - although not all at the same time!
