General Wellbeing

BOOK A TREATMENT NOW
Although we specialise in fertility and pregnancy treatments, we also provide reflexology and massage treatments for men and women, of any age, who aren't pregnant or trying to conceive, but simply want to improve or maintain their general health and wellbeing.
We all embrace the philosophy of maintaining wellness through lifestyle choices, rather than waiting until illness sets in. We won't just treat your symptoms, but will always strive to get to the root of what is causing those symptoms in the first place.
Our therapists are
neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQ+ friendly. Please get in touch to see how we can help you, or go ahead and book yourself in online.

Clinical Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary health therapy that is a somewhat similar to a targeted foot massage. It is based on the theory that different points on the hands and feet correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexologists work these reflex points and areas to bring balance and clear energetic congestion, allowing optimal functioning of all systems in the body. Reflexology can be effective in promoting deep relaxation, reducing stress, improving sleep quality and improving general wellbeing. This can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. Reflexology can be used safely alongside standard healthcare to promote better health for clients.

Clinical Deep Tissue Massage
Clinical deep tissue and sports massage is an integrative and evidence-informed treatment. It combines neuromuscular (trigger point) therapy and myofascial release techniques with a strong awareness of the mind-body connection and nervous system regulation. This treatment is suitable for ongoing muscular pain, postural strain, injury rehabilitation support, and general physical stress.

Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage uses smooth, flowing strokes, kneading, and gentle pressure to relax the entire body. Benefits include regulation of the nervous system by lowering stress hormones such as cortisol, boosting blood circulation, easing mild muscle pain, improving flexibility, and promoting better sleep. It is ideal for general relaxation and tension relief.

Hot Stone Fusion Massage

Hot Stone Fusion combines heated basalt stones with clinical deep tissue or relaxing massage techniques to help ease muscular tension, reduce stress and encourage deep relaxation. Unlike traditional hot stone massage, where the stones are primarily placed on the body, the heated stones are used throughout the treatment as massage tools. The warmth helps relax tight muscles, allowing deeper work with greater comfort. Hot Stones can also be incorporated into fertility and pregnancy massage treatments where appropriate.

Niel-Asher Technique for Frozen Shoulder Treatment
This treatment is provided by Jill Wright, a certified Niel-Asher practitioner. It is a natural, “hands-on” method which taps into the body’s innate healing abilities. Treatment involves the neuromuscular technique of trigger point therapy combined with a sequence of stretching and specific manipulations to the shoulder joint and soft tissues. The sequence is the same for all cases with some modifications according to presenting symptoms and stage within the course of treatment. The technique addresses the two main problems of frozen shoulder – pain and stiffness.
The Niel-Asher technique can also be used and adapted to treat rotator cuff problems. The coordinated sequence of manipulations to deep sensory receptors and trigger points embedded in the shoulder muscles stimulates damaged tissue to send proprioceptive signals to the brain, thereby creating new neurological pathways at the level of the spinal cord and sensory cortex in the brain. This stimulation of sensory pathways re-programs and re-establishes the correct relationship between the brain and the shoulder. The technique relies on precise repetition in order to reinforce the “re-learning” towards normal responses and movement patterns. This in turn reduces pain, and increases range of motion, strength and power.
